These recordings come from my senior recital at Berklee on April 27th, 2002.
They were performed as one non-stop piece, but are separated here for easier downloading.
I am playing Iya (lead bata drum) and singing lead. Enjoy!

Ewe (Ghana)
A traditional dance rhythm for young girls in Ghana.
I'm playing the lead drum (atsimevu), calling the changes for the dancers. Shona (Zimbabwe)
