Mongo Santamaría Conga Solo
Latin Percussionist 11 (Fall 2000): 9.
A transcription of a tumbadora solo by Ramón "Mongo" Santamaría (1917-2003). The solo can be heard in the tune "Sabroso", available on Mongo's Greatest Hits (Fantasy FCD-24735-2 & 4529). There is one mistake that occured in the transition between the hand-written version and the publisher's computer-notated version. Can you find it?
